Our new friend Ziggy entered the shelter in January as a cruelty case. He was in rough shape, fur completely matted and blocking his ears, and weighed only 29 lbs. Despite his obvious discomfort, Ziggy was the sweetest boy to his rescuers, showing nothing but gratitude and love. He was shaved down for comfort, started on a nutritious diet to bulk up his weight, and waited for the criminal case against his former "owner" to proceed. Fortunately, the shelter was quickly given ownership of Ziggy, and he was able to transfer to Nirvana to join a foster home and find a forever home!

Ziggy is estimated to be 2 years old and weighed 29 lbs at his last weigh-in, though he should be closer to 35-40 lbs. He is shy but oh so sweet and friendly. He shares his foster home with a dog and a cat who he quickly became friends with. Ziggy has started his basic training and is looking forward to continuing to learn with his forever family!

Ziggy's adoption fee is $350, which covers his vaccines, neuter, monthly prevention, and microchip.
