Meet Dobi!

A charming mini Chihuahua terrier mix brimming with affection and a longing for companionship. This sweet little guy finds joy in being close to his humans, whether nestled at your feet or by your side. Although he can be cautious around new people, both at home and in public, Dobi is on a journey of healing after losing his previous owner, gradually learning to trust again. He enjoys the company of small dogs and is friendly with them, but he needs time and positive experiences to feel at ease with larger breeds. He would love a home with a yard for him to romp around in.

Currently, Dobi is honing his leash skills and learning to socialize with other dogs during walks. While he may initially feel anxious when encountering new canine friends, with quick corrections and reassurance help him blossom into a joyful companion. He is a great co-pilot in the car and is making strides in his house manners, particularly with potty training, although he occasionally still needs belly bands. Dobi thrives on routine and structure, which foster positive interactions, and once he establishes a bond of love and loyalty with his humans, his affection knows no bounds.

Given his past, Dobi requires gentle introductions to men, as he tends to connect more easily with women. However, with patience and trust-building, he becomes open to meeting new people, even if it takes some time. Dobi is in search of a family that can match his energy and a home where he can feel secure and share his affectionate nature. He would thrive in a patient environment where a family is dedicated to helping him with training, building trust, and providing structure.
