Clara is a beautiful 3-year-old mini Bernedoodle who has retired from the life as a commercial breeder. She is just beginning to learn what it means to feel safe and loved. She is incredibly sweet, docile, and gentle, but also very shy and fearful due to her past.
She will need an experienced, patient dog owner who understands that trust takes time. Her journey will be a slow, steady process, and she needs a home that is fully committed to her-one that will never give up on her, even on the hard days.

3-year-old mini Bernedoodle
Potty trained and crate trained
Walks well on a leash
Does well with other dogs and cats
Sweet, quiet, and submissive

What She Needs:
A calm, stable home
A patient and understanding adopter experienced with fearful dogs
A women-only household, or at minimum a female primary caregiver
A low-pressure environment where she can build confidence at her own pace

She is very hesitant with the world around her, startles easily, and is especially fearful of men. Because of this, she would thrive best in a home where a woman is her main caregiver and where expectations are gentle and realistic.
