DESCRIPTION
Xander Oreo is back on the market for a forever home!
He is a 4 year old pomsky (Pomeranian x Husky mix) weighing in at 30-35 pounds. He is good with absolutely everything (dogs, cats, kids, even livestock!). He is truly the definition of social butterfly and would love a forever family who took him on adventures and trips to breweries. He has a history of escaping to wander the neighborhood when left alone and that was the reason his original family surrendered him to the shelter. If his people are home he is over the moon to cuddle on the couch with them and be a perfect angel in the house.
When he originally came to SAAP he had to have his upper canine teeth removed so his tongue frequently bleps out of his mouth a bit. This will not cause him issues down the road, but does make him a bit of a messy drinker.
We discovered crystals in his urine this week so we started him on prescription food that he will likely need for the rest of his life to prevent them from reforming. The food takes a few weeks to work to break up the crystals but he feels better already!
