Meet Picasso — your tiny, loyal shadow with a big personality.

This little gentleman is ready to find his forever person. Picasso may be small, but he has plenty to say — especially if he thinks you've been gone too long! He'll happily let you know he missed you.

Picasso is more of a back-of-the-couch philosopher than a social butterfly. While he does well with other dogs, he's not overly playful and prefers observing the world from his favorite perch. His happy place? Curled up somewhere cozy where he can keep an eye on his person.

He forms a strong bond with “his” human and likes to always know where you are. He's not overly cuddly or clingy, but he's deeply devoted in his own independent way. If you're looking for a constant companion who will quietly share your space and your routines, Picasso may be your guy.

The good stuff: Potty-trained, Crate-trained, Can be left out while you're away, Prefers sleeping in bed with his person, Does well with older kids who understand and respect his boundaries.

Picasso would thrive in a calm home with someone who appreciates a dog with personality, opinions, and loyalty. He's not looking for the spotlight — just his person.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional's recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal's history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.

The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
