Pomeranian Dogs Available for Adoption

Lainey is a spunky Pomeranian who is 2 1/2 years old. Despite her small size, she has a great big personality. Lainey can be a little uncertain when she meets new people, and appreciates it when you let her come to you. When she warms up, she wants to get plenty of cuddles and maybe a treat or two. This adorable little lady was surrendered to rescue after not being a good match with her family. Lainey does have an independent streak, and she will test people to make sure they mean what they say. When you are consistently firm but fair with her, she is happy to follow your lead and be respectful of your commands. She absolutely loves her toys and willingly fetches for hours. She also adores playing tug. Lainey is completely housebroken, does well on leash and even knows how to stand up on her hind legs and dance! She is quite food motivated and enjoys learning new tricks. Lainey has been good with the dogs she has met, though she can be a bit bossy with them, especially around food. She would probably do best with male dogs, or submissive females. She doesn’t mind cats, and would probably do ok with kids over 13 or so. Because she can try to test people, she wouldn’t be suitable for a home with young kids. Lainey is an absolute gem of a dog, who is just waiting for her chance to shine. Adoption fee is $200

If you are interested in adopting an animal after viewing it an adoption Application should be filled out and left with the volunteers. Once the Adoption Application is reviewed and a background check is done someone from the shelter will be in contact with you.
