MY AGE: 10 months WEIGHT: 9lbs

MY STORY: Nova is a 10-month-old Pomeranian who recently arrived in rescue after her family lost their housing. Right now the world feels pretty big and unfamiliar, so she’s understandably nervous — but underneath that uncertainty is a very gentle, sweet little dog just waiting to feel safe again.

She tends to observe first, quietly taking everything in, and once she realizes you’re kind, she softens and leans into affection. Nova isn’t the life-of-the-party type (at least not yet), but she wants to trust and is already showing glimpses of the loving companion she’ll become with patience and reassurance.

Nova will do best with an adopter who can give her time to decompress and adjust at her own pace. As her confidence grows, so will her personality — and there’s something really special about earning the love of a shy dog.

Right now she needs someone willing to go slow…
and in return you’ll watch a little star come out of her shell.

Pomeranians require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious double coat, which can come in various colors. Despite their small size, they are lively and confident, often displaying a curious nature and playful demeanor that endears them to their owners.
