Meet the Resilience Puppies — six tiny miracles born 12/23/25. Their overwhelmed owner surrendered them after we boarded four of her adult dogs for a month while she was hospitalized.
🐾 VALOR — blk/tan male (Current weight approximately 3 lbs)
Valor is a handsome black‑and‑tan boy with deeper, richer markings and a soft, expressive face.
As part of our Last Litter Program, all four adult dogs in the home — including mom (13 lb Rat Terrier) and dad (16 lb Pom/Spitz mix) — have now been altered and safely returned to their owner.
These puppies are small‑breed mixes with soft coats, expressive eyes, and the sweetest temperaments. At this age, they’re still very much babies — playful, curious, cuddly, and happiest when they’re close to people. They’re being fostered on a ranch in Oroville WA with dogs, cats, horses, and donkeys, giving them a gentle, well‑socialized start.
They will receive their 2nd DAPP booster on 2/17/26, and will have deworming, microchips, and flea treatment completed. Ready for adoption: 2/19/26.
If adopted in Okanogan County, families may continue puppy boosters — and later spay/neuter — with our vet. All puppies go home on a standard adoption contract with a spay/neuter clause.
For Western WA families: We are meeting approved adopters in Ellensburg on Feb 19th or shortly after. We also have the option to meet families in Tacoma around the noon hour on Feb 21st. If you’re unable to travel east, we’ll do our best to coordinate a volunteer hand‑off closer to your area
