Hi! My name is Floyd and I am looking for a forever home. My previous owner decided she had too many dogs so asked a small local rescue about rehoming me. Luckily for me, a volunteer with that rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes ... yeah! I am what some folks call a "pomsky" (part pomeranian and part husky). My foster mom wasn't too sure about that until she met me and got to know me. I have the smaller size and coloring of a pomeranian but the blue eyes and curly, fluffy tail of a husky, plus I don't actually bark but "talk" like a husky. I'm only about 2 years old and weigh a little under 20lbs and shouldn't get any bigger. I love getting attention and just hanging with you. I have also gotten along with all of the other small/medium sized dogs I have met while in foster and haven't bothered those things called cats. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of any bedding; however, I would really prefer to be out with you and will start talking if I hear or see you to let you know not to forget about me. I enjoy my food and take treats gently. I'm also really good on leash as it means we get to go out on an adventure together. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
