Pointer Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Lumi, a very sweet and happy 8 month old female pointer mix. Generally friendly, Lumi can sometimes take a little bit to warm up to people and dogs but what a gem she is. Lumi found her way into a shelter as a stray -- so hard to believe -- but she's very happy that the kind folks at NEBR came to her rescue. Lumi is very playful and loves toys, like any 8 month old and she loves the water but hasn't been tested for swimming. We're thinking she would probably be ok but, as always, wise to use a life vest. Lumi came to us with a previously fractured leg, so her gait is a little "wonky," but that doesn't slow her down a bit.
She's a happy, active pup!

Lumi is crate trained and house trained and she is fine with other dogs and even dog savvy cats. She's also fine with children.

Lumi has been spayed, is up to date with her vaccinations, is heartworm negative and on prevention. She is also microchipped.
