Pluto - Plott Hound Dog for Adoption in Potomac, Maryland

Meet PLUTO! Pluto is a gorgeous, 1.5 year old, 48 pound male brindle Plott Hound mix -- his happy, sweet, "boppable" face and shiny fur are hard to resist. If you are looking for a very sweet, lovable dog that is up for any adventure, Pluto is your pup! He has young dog playfulness and is excited to meet people (of all ages) and other dogs, but also settles down to hang out or nuzzle up to you for head rubs or belly rubs. And, even better, this all around great dog ignores the kitties!.

Pluto and his "sister" were dumped and ended up at a rural North Carolina shelter; we were able to bring his "sister" into rescue earlier and she is already adopted! After two months at the overcapacity shelter, Pluto was in danger and the shelter rescue coordinator asked if we could bring this extremely sweet dog into PetConnect to save him. A great foster offered and this sweetie just had his freedom ride!!! He is so happy that PetConnect has come to his rescue and brought him to the DC area to find a forever family that will give him the attention that he deserves and never abandon him to the woods!.

Pluto would love to curl up with you to hang out on a summer night! He would be an excellent new member of the family!
