DESCRIPTION

Meet Maggie 💛 Plott Hound

At 3 years old, Maggie is the kind of dog who has already figured out how to be the best companion, she's just waiting for the right person (or family) to share it with.

Maggie is an easygoing, go-with-the-flow girl who truly "handles pretty much everything." She enjoys a variety of foods, loves her car rides (she'll happily settle into the back seat like a seasoned co-pilot), and is fully housebroken, she'll even sit by the door to politely let you know when she needs to go out. It's giving respectful queen energy.

She's great with kids and does well with other dogs, making her a wonderful fit for a family home. She hasn't had much experience with cats yet, so that's a bit of an unknown. Maggie would thrive in a home with a fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy some freedom, especially since she's not a fan of rainy day potty breaks (honestly... relatable).

Maggie does have a playful side, she loves stuffed toys, though they don't always survive her enthusiasm 😅 She also enjoys durable chews like Nylabones. On walks, she can be a bit of a puller, but with consistency and a little guidance, she'll only get better.

She already knows some commands like "sit," "lay down," "stay," and even "high five," which just proves she's not only smart, but also eager to connect and please. While she's been kennel trained in the past and will go in without issue, she's currently used to having free roam of the house.

One thing to know: Maggie may bark when meeting new dogs, but it's just her way of communicating and giving a little "hey, I'm here!" She'll also let you know if something feels off, making her a quiet little watchdog when needed.

Maggie would do best with an active family, maybe with kids or another dog to keep her company, and a home that will continue giving her structure, love, and a comfy spot in the back seat.

She's past the puppy chaos, full of personality, and ready to be someone's whole heart.
