DESCRIPTION
Maddox is still looking for his forever home, and we're asking our faithful followers to help us share his story once again.
Maddox is a 6-year-old, 74-lb mixed breed gentleman who found himself in a southern shelter after clearly being loved for most of his life. When we saw his face-and that smile-we knew exactly where his story was headed. We brought him to NH so he could spend his golden years with people who truly see the incredible dog he is.
This boy checks so many boxes:
Sweet
Happy
Playful
Smart
Cuddly
Fully house-trained
Maddox wants nothing more than to be with his humans and soak up all the love they're willing to give. Because of his age and some uncertainty around cats, we believe Maddox would do best as the only pet in the home, where he can feel secure and get all the attention he deserves. That said, Maddox currently attends doggie daycare and does great with his dog pals there-he's truly a social guy!
We know puppies often steal the spotlight, but there is something so special about an older dog. With Maddox, there are no surprises-his personality is known, his manners are in place, and his love for people is just as strong as it was when he was young. If you-or someone you know-has room in their heart and home for this wonderful soul, please reach out to us at:

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Plott Hound, known for its striking brindle coat, is a devoted and fearless hunting dog with a rich history. Originating in North Carolina, this breed excels in tracking and treeing game, particularly wild boar and bears. The Plott Hound is renowned for its stamina, intelligence, and independence, making it an ideal companion for active individuals or families looking for a loyal and hardworking canine partner in a variety of outdoor activities.
