DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Ivy! I may be blind, but don't tell me that-I'm too busy enjoying life! Since having my eyes removed due to severe glaucoma, I've been a happy, energetic girl who loves toys, walks, car rides, sunshine, and, most of all, spending time with my people. I'm incredibly affectionate and have never met a stranger I didn't like, happily handing out kisses to adults and kids alike. My foster family says I even do a little "happy dance" when she hears people talking to me! I absolutely love playing with toys and can get pretty excited about them, but because I can't see, it's best to be mindful of where your hands are during playtime so I don't accidentally grab the wrong thing. I walk beautifully on leash, love food and treats, and have done well with calm dogs after a proper introduction. I'm looking for a family willing to help me learn the layout of my new home and give me a little time to adjust, but once I do, I'll reward you with endless love, snuggles, and companionship. If you're looking for a joyful, resilient best friend, I might be the perfect match!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
