Dayton did relatively well during his assessment. He is currently severely underweight, which may be influencing some guarding behaviors observed. He will likely benefit from desensitization and continued support, and at this time should not be placed in a home with small children.
Dayton otherwise appeared friendly with people and tolerant of other dogs, and he may be a good candidate for adoption.
