Pit Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Athena was found seemingly abandoned on a rural gravel road. Soon, her rescuers found 2 puppies that belonged to her, Max & Myles, and brought them all to the shelter. Athena seems to have had many litters of puppies in the past, but this was her last one, and now she’s ready for a cozy, loving home!
Athena absolutely loves people! She is gentle and enjoys belly rubs and walks! She doesn’t get along with other dogs, except her puppies and a few younger puppies we also have. We think she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. However, we believe she would do great with kids, as she is super loving and gentle with us!

Athena is assumed to be a Pit Bull mix, and is a low rider with a pretty white and black coat! Her mouth turns up in the sweetest smile, too!

Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, wormed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough). Dogs from GHAS will also come with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet dog/puppy food to get you started!
