Some stories come full circle… and Brae’s is one of them.
This sweet special needs girl was brought to us last year when she was only a few hours old—tiny, fragile, and needing a miracle. One of our amazing technicians stepped in and bottle-raised her, pouring love into her from the very beginning. 🍼💕
At 8 weeks old, Brae was adopted out, but to no fault of her own she found herself back with us.
A few months ago, Brae was diagnosed with Addison’s disease—a condition where her body doesn’t produce enough of certain hormones. It means she’ll need lifelong management, including routine medications (often a monthly injection and/or daily meds) and regular vet check-ins to keep her feeling her best. 💉🐾
But here’s the thing about Brae…
She doesn’t let any of that define her.
She is everything you could ever want in a dog.
She loves kids (like, truly adores them), gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, chickens, even goats—she’s just happy to be part of the family. 🐶🐱🐔🐐
She turned one year old on 3/12/26, and more than anything, she deserves a home that will celebrate every birthday with her for the rest of her life. 🎂💛
Brae isn’t “special needs” because she’s got Addisons —she’s special because she’s been fighting since the very beginning… and she’s still the most loving, joyful, perfect girl.
Now she just needs the right person to love her forever. 🫶🐾
