Philippe may be a little timid at first, but once you give him a chance to get to know you he becomes very loving and sweet. He has a very calm and gentle disposition, and may do best in a home with children over the age of 10 years old, as younger children may be too much for him. Philippe seems to get along well with other dogs, but dogs with a lot of energy may be too much for him. He needs a home without cats.
