If you say run, Bowie will run with you. If you say hide, he will hide with you! He isn’t named after Bowie just cause of that sick eyeliner he’s sporting. He’s as ride or die as they get!
Bowie is adorable, certainly. And he is the most sensitive little pittie man, looking for a dance partner that can show him the ropes and help him gain confidence on that dance floor of life. While he can be timid, all his foster family sees is his big heart and immense bravery. He may be taking a walk in that new neighborhood a little bit scared, but he’s up for exploring and gains confidence in new surroundings quickly. New friend (dog or person)on the scene? He’s gonna be nervous, but he’s gonna make that new friend.
He has done very well with children and thrives with other dogs. In fact, with a confident dog as a mentor, he really comes alive. He’s sweet, he’s smart, he snuggles. He’s the complete package in a petite little 40 lb body.
And did we mention the eyeliner framing those big brown eyes. I mean, come one!
He does well with grooming, rides in the car well, and can be left alone. He’s still working on liking his crate, but with activities, he doesn’t mind staying in his crate.
Bowie would probably be best in a home with an outgoing, confident dog. He’s looking for a home in a quiet neighborhood and he needs a fence. Bowie should not be in a home with cats.
