8-year-old Grable spent her early years on a property in Ramona, living with many other dogs in the backyard. When her owner needed help rehoming some of them, we welcomed Grable and Brown (also available for adoption) into
the Frosted Faces family.
When Grable arrived at FFF, she was understandably very scared after having her world turned upside down. She had never left the property previously or been around any humans other than her owner.
Slowly but surely, Grable has learned that she can trust her human caregivers. Being petted, going for walks around FFF grounds, being brushed, and hanging out with other dogs are all things she enjoys.
Another favorite activity? Playing with Brown! Carrying around toys, chasing each other, and wrestling - it's impossible not to smile when watching these two! Grable and Brown even had a sleepover at our founders' house - a brand new experience for them. (See video.)
It's great to see Grable's tail up and wagging with her growing confidence. We're so proud of how far she has come, and now, she's onto a new adventure: a two-week Frosted Fling. Stay tuned for updates!
