So, you're looking to adopt a dog but maybe consider this offer for a second - a wobbly land seal who can't always stay upright but never lets her tumbles get her down. Luna is happy, bright, and she always sees the silver lining of every situation (and with her shining grey fur, she's happy to be your silver lining as well). Luna is almost a year old and she's still got her ever-loving puppy personality - she's all about toys and cuddles. Luna has done well with dogs, cats, and dog savvy children so she could do well in a variety of homes.
Luna does have a neurological and gait abnormality, she often loses her balance or falls when excited and bouncing around. Her symptoms appear to be chronic and non-progressive but adopters are encouraged to follow up with their veterinarian and possibly schedule a neurology consult. She is in our special medical adoption program, if you are interested in her please complete an adopter's profile at parl.org and email clinic@parl.org to learn more about her medical condition and to schedule a meet and greet with her.
