River has adjusted nicely to the humans in our house and with family that has visited him. He is nervous upon first meeting but once he warms up he will lay in your lap and request his belly to be rubbed. He loves to cuddle and enjoys being close. He has done well with our teenaged children and loves to play with them. He also allows them to cuddle. We at working in slowly introducing another dog to him. He does great parallel walking and while being leashed around another dog. River loves being the center of attention and would love a family who could devote a lot of time to them. Maybe even with a low energy dog. He learns quickly and catches onto routine fast. He knows command including sit, stay and down. Walks great on leash with a harness. Doesn’t like to walk for a long time. You’ll know when he’s had enough. He’s very good motivated and will do anything for a treat. He has a favorite toy. It was a lamp chop but he has removed the stuffed and feet but he still Carrie’s it around with him. His tail wags nonstop and when he’s happy his whole body will move with his tail. You won’t be able to deny his happiness.
