When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!
What we know: Litter of 6 transferred from SPCA South Plains (TX). The litter was originally found as strays alongside their mother and a total of 8 puppies. One puppy remained in Texas for medical treatment for puppy strangles (non-contagious) and is currently healing; they are expected to join their littermates at a later date. The whereabouts of the eighth puppy are unknown. Puppies were approximately 3 months old at the time of intake.
From the foster: Wolf is an energetic and affectionate puppy who can't wait to be your loyal companion. He loves spending time with his humans, whether it's playtime in the yard or curling up for a cozy nap. Friendly with both people and other dogs, he is always eager to please.
He's making great progress with potty training and has already mastered coming in through the dog door. He's just learning that he can also let himself out! At night, Wolf prefers snuggling with his humans but will sleep soundly in his crate after a short, sweet protest.
Leash walking hasn't started yet, but with his quick learning (he figured out the dog door in under 24 hours), he's sure to catch on fast!
If you're looking for a devoted, loving puppy to bring joy to your home, Wolf is ready to steal your heart.
