When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!
What we know: Litter of 6 transferred from SPCA South Plains (TX). The litter was originally found as strays alongside their mother and a total of 8 puppies. One puppy remained in Texas for medical treatment for puppy strangles (non-contagious) and is currently healing; they are expected to join their littermates at a later date. The whereabouts of the eighth puppy are unknown. Puppies were approximately 3 months old at the time of intake.
From the foster: Meet Moose AKA Bandit in his foster home!
Moose has such soulful eyes your heart will melt.
Moose is a fun pup to have around. He is people oriented and will quickly bond with his forever family.
Moose is working on his potty training. He has very few accidents if taken out on a regular schedule. He is food motivated and eager to please his foster parents. He just about has the command "sit" down. He will readily come to you when called.
This cutie climbs out of his playpen to join his foster family and explore the house. After a few cries of despair he will settle in his kennel for the night.
Moose plays well with our dog, but thinks all the toys should be his. He is working on learning to share. He enjoys being outside and playing fetch with a ball. He also enjoys chewing on benebones and nylabones. He has NOT been interested in chewing on furniture! Yay!
Moose is a smart energetic boy that loves to be by his people. As I type this bio he is laying next to me enjoying some down time with me.
Moose will thrive with an active family, but has an off switch too, so he can enjoy being near his family for quiet time.
