Sometimes when people look at Rex and pitties like him, they can’t help but wonder what his life must have been like before all of this. What kind of puppy was he? He was probably excited for the life ahead of him and the family he believed he would grow up with. Instead, Rex ended up with cropped ears and was eventually dumped into the ACC shelter system. Now, once again, he finds himself searching for a place to land. Despite everything he has been through, Rex remains one of the most loving and loyal dogs anyone could ever meet.
When people think about how safe and secure their own dogs feel in their homes, it’s hard not to think about Rex and so many other dogs still waiting in shelters for that same chance. At some point in his life, Rex belonged to someone. And despite everything he has endured, he has come out of it with the sweetest attitude.
Every dog deserves a family that keeps them safe and a home where they are valued, protected, and loved for the rest of their life. Rex deserves that chance too, the chance to spend the rest of his days happy, safe, and curled up on someone’s couch.
Rex does wonderful with other dogs as well (:
He is 5 years old, neutered and vaccinated.
