Maui is a sweet, 60lb wiggly, people-loving boy who warms up quickly and becomes an affectionate, goofy companion. At 4 years old, he's a great mix of playful energy and the ability to settle nicely once he's had some interaction. He's easy to leash, walks well with guidance, and does great in his kennel with minimal vocalizing.

Maui enjoys meeting new people and responds well to redirection. He loves playing with other dogs and is happiest when he has a buddy to romp with. He's still learning some doggy manners and can come on a bit strong at first, but there's zero aggression--just enthusiasm. If another dog barks to tell him he's being too much, Maui simply gives a goofy "okay!" and wanders off to find a new playmate.

Because he does show some prey drive, Maui would do best with medium or larger dog friends and no cats or small animals.

Maui is a truly special dog--loving, joyful, and eager to bond deeply with his people. He's the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle-buddy sweetness. With just a bit of structure and continued training, Maui will shine as a loyal, fun, and devoted companion.
