Pit Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Lemi is a tiny tank full of love!

She is a 40 lb, bundle of 1-year old puppy energy with a side of lounge dog. She will play fetch with you until she's had enough and will then unexpectedly plop her little body down on any cool surface she can find. She loves her humans and will become your shadow, but also knows how to find a shady spot in the yard and take a nap on her own time. She will greet you with such immense joy that coming home to her every day will be something you look forward to.

She is learning new commands and tricks with ease and loves to be challenged and stimulated with puzzle toys! Lemi's big head is definitely filled with a big brain. She is enjoying her two walks a day but will let you know when she needs a break and some water (see previously mentioned plop on the ground). She sleeps through the night in her covered crate with ease, but if you prefer a bed buddy, she will gladly take you up on that as well.

She has never had an accident in the house or her crate and she is working on her separation anxiety - we understand, being abandoned in an empty lot can do that to anyone. Lemi is very excited to meet other dogs and has been friendly with every animal she has encountered but her energy can be a lot for introvert pets at first. She is a gentle treat taker, and doesn't seem to be food aggressive or protective.
