Poppy is a 12-week-old, nearly 20-pound blonde beauty with a soft coat, soulful eyes, and that irresistible puppy charm that melts hearts on sight. She’s a pit bull mix who came to us from a local Bay Area shelter as a stray alongside her brother. Sadly, no one came forward to claim them — but Poppy is more than ready for her fresh start.
This girl is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate. She loves to explore, romp around with toys, and then settle in for a good nap or cuddle session. Poppy is a smart, curious puppy who is eager to learn and already showing signs of being a confident, people-loving companion.
Like all puppies, Poppy is still an infant and has no formal training yet, but she’s at the ideal age to start building good habits, confidence, and manners. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she’s going to blossom into an amazing adult dog.
Poppy’s ideal home will be a house with a secure yard (no apartments, please) and a family that has the time and commitment to provide training, socialization, and plenty of age-appropriate exercise and play. A large-breed-experienced home is strongly preferred so she can grow up supported and set up for success.
Poppy will be spayed before adoption and will continue completing her puppy vaccination series over the next few weeks.
If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loving puppy to grow up by your side — Poppy is ready to steal your heart
