Pit Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Hi! My name is Arty, and I’m a 6-month-old, 40-lb female Pit Mix with the sweetest soul. I’m the perfect blend of affectionate and independent — I love cozy snuggles just as much as having my own quiet time to relax.

Some of my favorite things include belly rubs, walks, tug-of-war, chew toys, squeaky toys, and romping around with other dogs. I haven’t met any cats in my foster home yet, but I can absolutely be cat-tested if needed. I also haven’t lived with kids so far, but I’m still young, very people-friendly, and eager to learn, so I’d likely do great with them.

I do have one small quirk: I prefer a little personal space when I’m laying down and don’t love faces being right up in mine — boundaries are important, after all!

I’m fully potty trained and crate trained, which means I already have great house manners and make an excellent house guest. If you’re looking for a happy, loving, well-balanced pup to add to your family, I just might be your girl!

*Disclaimer: Arty is currently located in Texas and can be adopted either locally or out of state. We coordinate everything with our ground transport teams to ensure they arrive to the adopter safely and we keep the adopter in the loop every step of the way. Transport costs are included in the adoption fees. We also have our fosters video chat with potential adopters prior to adoption so that the adopter gets to see the animals and ensure it’s a fit. We allow adoption fees to be paid via goods and services if desired to give our adopters extra security and protection.
