ZEUS (IL) - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Klein, Texas

Zeus is a handsome 4-year-old, 50–60 lb neutered Red Nose Pit Bull with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This goofy guy is looking for something he has been waiting far too long for: a forever home of his own.
Zeus is a fun, affectionate BIG OL’ BABY who loves being close to his people. He’s also a certified couch potato and professional bed hog, so be prepared to share your favorite spot! He is house trained, walks pretty well on a leash, loves kids, and is always ready to soak up some attention.
Zeus does need to be the ONLY PET in the home. He wants his people all to himself and is looking for a family where he can be the one and only four-legged king of the castle.
He can also become nervous around sudden loud noises, including fireworks and balloons popping, so he would appreciate a family who will help him feel safe and secure when things get a little noisy.
Zeus’s story is one that really pulls at our hearts. He was originally abandoned at Kingwood Pet Resort four years ago. He was eventually adopted by a wonderful family and spent time registered as an emotional support animal for a family member with a disability. Unfortunately, his family later learned that their housing would not allow Zeus because of his breed, and through no fault of his own, Zeus found himself back at the pet resort searching for a home all over again.
Despite everything, Zeus still has so much love to give.
He enjoys baths, doesn’t mind nail trims, knows some commands (although whether he feels like doing them is another story ), and would happily spend his days playing, lounging on the couch, stealing your spot in bed, and being loved.
Zeus has already known what it feels like to be abandoned and then to lose the home he thought would be forever. This time, we want forever to really mean forever.
