Iceland - Pit Bull Terrier and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Kansas City, Missouri

Iceland is a 3 year old good girl ready for a second chance at life. She was rescued from a less than ideal situation and would love a family to show her that she is safe and loved. We are still learning more about Iceland, but she is available for adoption!

Iceland previously lived with other dogs and goes to doggy playgroups. She likes to wrestle with her doggy friends all around the yard. Like all of our dogs, she would like to meet any potential canine sibling before heading home to make sure that it's a good fit.

Iceland was able to go on a Dog Day Out and here is what they said, "We went to McDonalds for breakfast and then to the lake to check out the beach and walk the trails! Followed up with the Brookside Barkery for some treats and a backseat nap during the long way back! Iceland is such a sweet girl who just wants someone to love her and she can trust and love in return! She warmed up quick, did well on her leash and around other people! And she's the best car rider!"

On another day out, "We took Iceland out all over the city. She was a great hiking buddy on the Swope Park trails, charmed passersby at Loose Park, and enjoyed a pupcup. She's a sweet, gentle soul who loved on everyone who approached her. She was so loving with my 7 year old and they really enjoyed each other."
