Serotonin is a 1-year-old, 33-pound girl with a heart full of love and a playful spirit. She truly lives up to her name and has a way of lifting the mood of everyone around her. She absolutely loves people and eagerly seeks out affection whenever it's offered.
She walks easily on leash and enjoys getting out to explore. Serotonin has a playful side and loves toys, often zooming around when she's feeling silly. After some activity, though, she's ready for a break-during a longer walk she showed she can get tired and happily accepted being carried for a bit, trusting her person completely.
Serotonin is very affectionate and may jump up when she's excited to give love, but it's all part of her sweet, people-focused personality. She can be a bit skittish and appears under-socialized, so she's still building confidence with new experiences and environments.
One thing she finds especially scary right now is doorways. She's very hesitant to go through them and needs someone patient who can help her slowly build confidence and learn that new spaces are safe.
With time, encouragement, and positive experiences, Serotonin has the potential to become much more comfortable in new places and could enjoy outings once her confidence grows.
At her core, Serotonin is an incredibly loving, playful young dog who just needs someone willing to guide her as she learns about the world. In return, she offers endless affection and companionship.
