A 53lb, 3-year-old APBT who came to us after being picked up by animal control in rough condition. When we contacted her owner, they chose to surrender her, so Pippa is now looking for a fresh start with a loving family who will show her the kindness she deserves.
At first, Pippa was scared and very nervous, but with time she has begun to come out of her shell. She does best when people go slow and are patient with her, allowing her to build trust at her own pace. She can be a bit timid around men, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality really shines.
Pippa seems to do well with other dogs. She absolutely loves human affection, spending time outside, and—like most pups—treats and food are a big way to her heart! She has a lot of personality just waiting to blossom in the right home.
Pippa would do best with a gentle, understanding adopter who is willing to give her time, love, and reassurance. In return, she’ll reward you with loyalty, affection, and plenty of sweet moments as she continues to gain confidence.
We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
