This 32lb, 1-year-old is a sweet, sensitive APBT mix who came to the shelter after being found roaming the streets on her own. The shelter environment can be overwhelming for her, so she’s understandably timid around loud noises, quick movements, and other dogs. She may need a little time and patience to feel safe—but once she’s in a calm space, her true personality starts to shine.
With gentle handling (and especially with treats—she loves treats!), Heihei will slowly warm up and choose her person. When she does, she likes to stick close, forming a loyal little shadow. Once she’s comfortable, Heihei reveals her high-energy, playful side and is always ready for fun—especially if stuffed animals are involved!
Heihei would do best in a quiet, understanding home that will let her move at her own pace and show her that the world can be kind. In return, she’ll give you devotion, playfulness, and a very special bond.
