Pit Bull Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Abe! This 4-month-old pup is the perfect blend of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. He loves his toys, enjoys a good game of chase or tug, and brings a fun, happy energy wherever he goes. After he’s gotten his wiggles out, Abe is more than content to settle in close to his people for some well-earned cuddles—his favorite place to be is right by your side.

Abe is very food motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. He’s eager to learn, picks up on new things quickly, and will thrive in a home that continues to build on his skills with positive reinforcement and consistency. He’s already crate trained and is off to a great start with his basic manners.

This sweet, happy boy is looking for a forever home where he can continue to grow, learn, and be included in everyday life. Whether it’s playtime, training sessions, or relaxing on the couch, Abe is ready to be your loyal little sidekick. Abe is a 4-month-old mixed breed who was rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, and neuter. Abe is also tested with other dogs, cats, and children. He is working on potty and kennel training in foster care. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home.

The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.

We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)

Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed.

Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).
