Let’s talk about Noemi
We met this sweet mom on our California trip. We had filled our van and had called it when the shelter workers asked us to please consider one more dog. This sweet girl was heavily pregnant and on the euthanasia list for the day after we left. when we saw her, a scary of an environment as she was in, she would simply lay her head in the lap of the shelter workers asking for just a little bit of comfort. Needless to say, we couldn’t tell her no.
This young girl gave birth, just one day after she got to her foster home. She has spent the last two months raising 10 puppies. She has been such a loving and attentive mom, even for how clearly inexperienced she was. Not only has she had to raise 10 pups, but she also had to learn how to trust people as well as how to interact with other dogs.
Now that Noemi’s jobs as a mom are coming to an end, her playful, funny personality has started to come out! She went from not knowing how to greet her foster sister to now being her favorite wrestling companion. She went from being scared that the house cat was a danger to her babies to following him around and occasionally playing a good game of chase, initiated by the cat!
Well, this girl still has some fear tendencies, it’s clear she was not well acquainted with humans before this, she is a sweet and loving companion. She invites you to play, wants to sit in your lap, and will always be incredibly interested when you try and eat food! At between 30 and 40 pounds, she is the perfect medium size companion. She will need some patience when she meets her new family, but with a little time and a little patience, this happy silly girl will shine!
She is fixed vaccinated and micro chipped, and ready for her forever home now!
