Hi there, my name is Colby, but my friends call me Marshmallow, and once you meet me you will know exactly why. I am a 40 pound bundle of sweetness with a soft heart and a wiggly little body that just cannot contain its happiness. When I see new people or other dogs, my whole back end starts to wiggle like it has a mind of its own. I just love everyone and everything.

I am a slender, handsome pit mix with soulful eyes and the kind of smile that makes people stop and say hello. I follow direction really well because I truly want to make my people proud. Tell me what you would like and I will do my very best to get it right. I walk nicely on a leash, I settle down quietly in my crate, and I seem to already know that potty time happens outside. Pretty smart for a marshmallow, right?

Kids, adults, other dogs, you name it, I am happy to be their friend. I do think cats are very interesting and I would absolutely love to play with them. I have a lot of enthusiasm, though, and sometimes cats are not quite as excited about my joyful energy. I just have a big zest for life.

If you are looking for a dog who will greet you like you are the best part of his day, every single day, I am your guy. Whether we are going for walks, playing in the yard, or just hanging out on the couch, I will be right there, soaking up the love and giving it right back.

I would fit beautifully into almost any home because my heart is wide open and ready to belong. All I need is a family to call my own.
