Eli is a five-month-old full breed American Pit Bull Terrier. He is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccines, and weighs approximately 20 pounds.

Eli was rescued from the recent dog fighting raid conducted by a police department in Texas. Over 200 dogs were confiscated from multiple addresses across North Texas. When Eli was found, he had a 30-pound chain attached to him. At just five months old, that was the life he knew. And yet despite that beginning, he is incredibly sweet.

He has shown no aggression toward other dogs. He simply needs the chance to learn how to be a puppy — how to play, how to trust, how to feel safe. He needs patience, guidance, and most of all, love.

Eli is not defined by where he came from. He is a baby who survived something unimaginable, and he deserves a future filled with kindness.
