This handsome young guy is "Vern", a one year old pit bull mix, weighing 50 pounds. This guy is ready for a fresh start and a family to call his own. Vern was brought to the shelter as a stray, he was underweight, and his coat was soaked with urine, we believe he was kept in a crate most of his young life.
With his striking dark brindle coat, and soulful eyes, he turns heads wherever he goes, but its his sweet, goofy personality that truly steals hearts. He is a silly boy who's just starting to discover how fun life can be. He is just now starting to figure out toys, and watching him figure it out is pure joy.
Despite his past, Vern is incredibly affectionate and people-loving. If you are looking for a true family dog, Vern is your boy. He will need to meet all humans an canines before adoption.
