Roxie is highly people oriented, she loves belly rubs and baby talk. Roxie does well with other dogs and lived with another dog previously. Roxie would do best with respectful children. She walks really well on a leash and would be a wonderful addition to someone’s family out there.

Roxie is a 5-year-old cutie pie who absolutely lives for a good bully rub in the warm, bright Texas winter sun. She’ll lay on her back right next to you, close her eyes, and soak up every second of love. This sweet girl has been in the shelter for over 90 days — far too long for such a sweet dog. Roxie is incredibly people-oriented and gentle with other dogs. She was potty trained and previously lived in a home with her brother, Ace, until their owner could no longer afford to keep them. Roxie isn’t just a shelter dog. She’s a companion waiting for her second chance. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a sunshine snuggler, and a heart full of love — Roxie is your girl!
