PERSONALITY TRAITS:
Kai is very trainable, playful, big snuggler and loves baths. He does well with other dogs in off leash playgroups and could do well with another dog in the home that matches his energy. Kai would do best around respectful children 12+.

Here is what shelter staff and volunteers have to say about Kai:
We believe Kai would likely do much better in a home setting because he has been kennel stressed. Overall, we think he could live with other dogs with the right introductions and management. As a precaution, Kai should be crated when left home alone—whether that is by himself or in a home with another dog—to help prevent any issues while unsupervised. Kai is a young dog who benefits from clear boundaries and guidance. One of the shelter employees has spent one-on-one time working with him, and he’s picked up some great basics. He knows how to sit, walks nicely on a leash without pulling, and understands what a crate is—he’ll settle into one easily when asked. Kai absolutely loves toys and playing, but he also has a calmer side. After some fun and exercise, he’s more than happy to
relax on the couch and hang out with his people while watching TV. With the right home that can provide structure and consistency, Kai has the potential to be a wonderful companion. 🐾
