Finn's story began with hardship. Before being adopted, he experienced severe neglect-but thanks to patience, love, and professional training, he has blossomed into an incredibly sweet and affectionate dog.
Around 6 years old, Finn is a lovable, slightly lazy cuddle bug who adores being close to his person. He's known in his home as the "house hippo" because of his relaxed nature and big, squishy snuggles.
Finn loves sunbathing and hanging outside. He would absolutely thrive in a home with a spacious yard where he can enjoy zoomies, stretch out in the sunshine, and simply feel free.
Due to his early neglect, Finn is dog reactive and needs to be the only animal in the home. This is not a reflection of his heart-it's simply part of his history.
Finn's ideal home:
No other animals. No small children. A secure yard with space to relax and play and someone who wants a deeply bonded, affectionate companion.
Finn wants to be your one and only!
Finn is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
