This is Willow.
She’s only about 1 year old, but her small body already tells the story of a life no dog should ever have to endure.
When Willow was found, she weighed just 32 pounds.
Starved. Fragile. Covered in scars. The kind of wounds that suggest a past we wish wasn’t real… possibly used as a bait dog.
Someone failed her in the worst ways.
The world she knew was pain, fear, and hunger.
But somehow… Willow survived.
Despite everything that was done to her, this girl is still here. Still fighting. Still looking up with those big, uncertain eyes that seem to ask:
“Are you going to hurt me too… or will you be different?”
Right now Willow is safe in rescue and slowly recovering, learning that food comes regularly and that gentle hands exist. But healing a heart that has been broken this badly takes time.
Willow will need a very special home:
• Someone with rescue experience
• No other dogs
• A calm, patient environment
• A person willing to move at her pace and let her learn what love feels like
This is not an easy dog.
This is a dog who needs a hero.
Someone who sees past the scars. Someone who understands that trust might take weeks… or months… but who will stay anyway.
Because somewhere inside this scared, fragile girl is the dog she was always meant to be.
All Willow needs…
is the person willing to give her the chance she’s never had.
