Granite is in need of a foster home. She was surrendered to us through no fault of her own, and shelter life has been very hard on her. The environment here is overwhelming, and we truly believe she would do much better in a calm home where she can relax and decompress.
Granite is around 2 years old and would need a quiet home without children. She will need help gaining weight and building confidence. Granite must stay indoors and will need to be leash-walked only since she is considered a flight risk. If there are other dogs in the home, a meet-and-greet will be required. She has not been spayed yet, so at this time she can only go to a foster home with Pittsylvania County or Danville City residents.
If you have a calm home and are willing to help Granite, please contact us at 434-432-1989.
