If you’re looking for a joyful, loving, and energetic companion, Bernie is your guy! At just 2 years old, this handsome pitbull is full of life, love, and tail wags. Bernie is the kind of dog who greets everyone like an old friend — his sweet nature and happy spirit are truly contagious.

Bernie absolutely lives for the outdoors. Give him a yard to zoom around in and he’ll be in heaven! He loves to stretch his legs, explore his surroundings, and take in all the exciting sights and smells. His curious personality means he’s always eager to learn about the world around him — and he’d love a family who will help guide him along the way.

When it comes to other dogs, Bernie is a social butterfly. He gets along great with canine friends and especially enjoys a good wrestling match or play session. However, due to his rambunctious and playful nature, a home without cats would be the best fit for him.

Toys? Bernie says yes, please! Plush toys are his absolute favorite, and he would be thrilled to have a basket full of soft squeaky treasures to call his own. He’s playful, silly, and always ready for a game.

Bernie is still polishing up his manners, but he’s incredibly treat motivated and eager to please. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, he has all the potential to grow into a well-mannered canine citizen. He would thrive with an owner committed to continuing his training and giving him the structure he needs to succeed.
