Alese is a 2-year-old, 32-pound bundle of sweetness and charm who’s currently thriving in her foster home. Since arriving in care, she has truly blossomed and her foster family describes her as absolutely hilarious, full of personality, and an all-around joy to be around.
She gets along with everyone she meets, including other dogs, kids, and even cats. Alese is gentle and respectful, and she’s picked up on new routines and tricks quickly. She’s food motivated (hello, training opportunities!) but not food aggressive—she happily respects the boundaries of other pets in the home.
Alese is fully potty trained and has learned to communicate when she needs to go out, even though she’s naturally a very quiet girl. She doesn’t bark or whine, so her foster has gotten used to watching for her subtle cues—and they’ve got a great rhythm now.
She loves her crate, happily settling in each night (especially when there’s a treat involved) and prefers to turn in early. She’s definitely not a night owl!
Alese is a snuggle bug who enjoys affection but isn’t overly clingy. She’ll happily sunbathe, relax, or entertain herself with toys—just make sure they’re the tough kind! Despite her playful side, she’s never chewed anything that wasn't hers. She seems deeply appreciative of the comfort and love she’s receiving and often flashes the sweetest little smile when she’s happy.
She’s also a bit smaller than she looks in photos—a true little “pocket pig” with a huge heart.
