Petey is a little guy with a big heart. He loves his people and would love nothing more than a house with lots of toys and a spot on the couch. Or, the floor. Or anywhere. Petey is known to be able to fall asleep on any surface and in any position. But, his favorite spot will always be near his people.Petey walks great on a leash and can self entertain with toys. He seems to prefer chewing on hard toys but would probably enjoy a variety. He loves to be pet and gets occasional zoomies. A volunteer who took him on an outing to her home noted that he loves car rides and curled up immediately and fell asleep in the backseat. She also gave him up a thumbs up for no accidents in the house and very polite manners. He won’t get on the couch unless invited.Petey has lived with another dog at the shelter and is known as a co-exister in play group.
