Lucia came to APA in rough shape, suffering from dystocia and needing an emergency C-section. She's shown incredible strength and resilience through it all. Sadly, one of her puppies didn't make it, and sweet Lucia was too sick to care for her surviving baby, who is now safe and being lovingly bottle-fed in foster care.

Now it's Lucia's turn to be cared for. After everything she's been through, this brave mama deserves a quiet foster home where she can rest, heal, and soak up all the TLC she's missed out on. Think cozy beds, gentle walks, soft voices, and plenty of treats. She's looking for a calm, comforting environment where she can recover at her own pace and remember what it feels like to simply be someone's beloved girl.
