Steve was rescued just in time from a high-kill Texas shelter — and he lives every single day like he knows he got a second chance.

Currently fostered at a local dog daycare, the staff call him “the coolest dog here.” And they see a LOT of dogs! Steve thrives in group play, makes friends easily, and is an absolute fetch champion. Throw the ball? He’ll bring it right back and look at you like, “Again?!”

Steve made it out just in time. Now he’s waiting for the family he was saved for.

(Green Bay adopters meet in Fond du Lac. Joliet & Davenport meet in Oglesby or Roscoe. Milwaukee adopters can use Sun Prairie, Fond du Lac, or Roscoe.)
