Lady Bug is a beautiful girl whose world changed through no fault of her own. She was surrendered after her devoted owner—an 80-something-year-old woman—could no longer manage a large dog, and her family hadn’t realized just how big Lady Bug would grow. Though she had been lovingly cared for her entire life, Lady Bug was heartbreakingly left at the shelter by the family she trusted.
Despite her initial confusion and sadness she was feeling Lady Bug remains the sweetest soul. All she truly wants is to be close to people. She loves to snuggle, and she’ll often flop right over for belly rubs, her favorite thing in the world.
Lady Bug is energetic but well-mannered, plays nicely (even submissively) with other dogs, and tends to stay close with good recall. She’s affectionate, gentle, and eager to bond. Lady Bug is making the best of it while she waits for the next chapter of her life.
We’re giving her all the love and reassurance we can, but what Lady Bug really needs is a forever family who will help her heart heal and remind her that she’s home for good this time.
If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will happily curl up beside you and shower you with devotion, Lady Bug may be the one you’ve been waiting for.
We understand from the information that was left with her that she is potty trained and cat friendly. We have not personally cat tested, we certainly can if you have a cat.
Lady Bug is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on preventative and HW negative.

Upcoming Travel
Friday & Saturday — February 20th and 21st..
Lady Bug is fostered with one of our rescue families in Texas and is available to travel north on our scheduled trips, which run at least twice each month.
We encourage adopters to read profiles fully and reach out with any questions — we are always happy to help. Inquiries through the site are not always coming through. If you send an inquiry and we do not answer, we didn't get it. You can use our direct email at atasnp@gmail.com or text/call 469-241-0000.
Upcoming Travel;
Friday & Saturday — February 20th and 21st.
Please see pick-up locations below.
Important transport notes:
• We cannot do meet-and-greets. The trip is long and demanding, and it would not be safe or fair for a dog or puppy to travel north and then return to Texas.
• No deposits are accepted.
• All adoption fees are paid in person at pick-up.
